I recommend adding the GPO Style Manual

and Suggestions to Authors of Reports of the United States Geological Survey, 7th ed.

Great suggestions, Liz! They’ve been added to the list.
I just wanted to mention that we’re collecting a new list of geoscience databases (many of which have been highlighted in the Blueline), which will be posted here and on the AESE website.
While not as necessary as the other books listed, how about Bates’s GeoWriting (http://www.agiweb.org/pubs/pubdetail.html?item=300324) as “recommended”?
Don
Don, a good suggestion–it’s been added.
