Last year, when AESE made the shift to PDF for the Blueline and Member Directory, we got a few (less than five) complaints from members who still wanted hard copies of one or the other. Because of that, we created an option for members who preferred printed versions to pay a bit extra on their membership fees and receive either or both as hard copies.
For reasons of cost and convenience, the AESE board has decided to discontinue this option for 2009. We sent out a total of four hard copies this year, which our business office ran off on a copier–they were not professionally printed because of the expense. Since both the Blueline and the Member Directory are available on the AESE website in PDF format, the sense of the board is that it should be a simple matter for anyone needing a hard copy to print it out on their own.
